Mary earned her Master’s Degree in Violin Performance from the Esther Boyer College of Music at Temple University, where she was a scholarship recipient and graduate teaching assistant. She earned her bachelor’s Degree in violin performance and music education from Rowan University, where she was awarded the W. Clarke Pfleeger medallion award for excellence in music. Mary is a registered Suzuki teacher and trained under Stevie Sandven at the Ithaca Suzuki Institute, and Carrie Reuning at the Philadelphia Suzuki Institute. Mary has performed with the Bay Atlantic Symphony, Peter Nero and the Philly Pops, the Academy of Vocal Arts Opera Orchestra, Delaware Symphony, Riverside Symphonia, Pottstown Symphony, and the Greater Trenton Symphony. She has studied with Hirono Oka, who is a member of the Philadelphia Orchestra, and with Gerald Beal and Leslie Webster. She also manages and plays in the Lucchi String Quartet. Mary is dedicated to teaching and enjoys working with children of all ages, with a special interest in young beginners.
