Ms. Martha is a former public school music director. She holds a master’s degree and has taught all levels (Ages 4-Adult) for 20+ years. Teaching is her passion! Ms. Martha has taught music for the United States Air Force and also worked for Antonio Strad Violin in San Antonio. She specifically teaches Suzuki, but also has fun with fiddle, celtic, praise & worship, and Christmas music. Martha is a a member of Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA), and continues to attend TMEA on a yearly basis to continue her music education. She believes teachers must be life long learners. In addition to playing the violin since she was a young child, she began fervently playing classical guitar in high school, and was instructed by a local classical guitar legend, Charles Teitsworth. Martha has traveled internationally peforming with different mission groups. She currently performs with the South Texas Symphonic Orchestra under the conductor Ronnie Sanders.
