Mariel Pagan Jimenez

Mariel began her studies in violin at the age of 11 years old at the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico’s Preparatory Program. She graduated from the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Violin Performance. She decided to move to Ohio to pursue her masters with Alan Bodman. She graduated from The University of Akron in the year 2009, obtaining the grade of Master’s Degree in Violin Performance.
Mrs. Pagán is a certified Suzuki Professor since 2004.
She currently lives in Puerto Rico. She is one of the violin professor of Unidos por la Música, a project that she founded in partnership with professor Tania González (also a certified Suzuki teacher). Unidos por la Música offers violin and guitar Suzuki lessons along with chamber music, music theory and music education for babies and toddlers.
