Lynsey Shelar began her studies on the violin at the age of four with the Suzuki Method.  Originally from Overland Park, Kansas, she received her Bachelor of Arts from Western Colorado University.  She started her local School of Music in which she teaches violin, viola, cello, and mandolin. She also performs regionally in a variety of music groups.
