Lucinda Mortimer

Lucinda is truly a “Suzuki kid” and began her Suzuki journey at 4 years old when she began piano lessons. She firmly believes that Every Child Can! She realized her interest in teaching piano when she worked as a Practice Partner during high school. She taught guided practice sessions virtually to young students of the Community Music School of Pittsburgh during the lockdown. She also participated in or taught at the Greater Pittsburgh Suzuki Institute annually for 13 years. Now trained and certified to teach Suzuki piano, she looks foward to sharing her piano passion through teaching while she attends college and beyond!

Lucinda is a member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas. She received her Suzuki piano training under Katherine Monsour Barley in Pittsburgh, PA.
