Liza Hein, a Colorado native, was raised as a Suzuki kid herself, beginning her formal violin training at the age three. Since then, she has studied violin under world-renowned string players such as Barbara Barber and Dr. Richard Niezen, as well as under several other influential Suzuki teachers and teacher trainers. Liza hopes her students will find joy artistically expressing themselves through the language of music. She believes that music brings color to the stories of our lives and that through persistence and dedication, anyone can become an artist. Through their studies, students become not only artists, but also people of great character, discipline, and patience who understand the challenging and rewarding process of growth. Liza has been giving lessons to children ages three and up in the Denver metro area for over eight years now and is a graduate of Colorado Christian University. Outside of teaching, she loves people, animals, the outdoors, spicy chai tea, and spending time with her friends and family (particularly her precious nieces and nephews).
