Mrs. Leslie A. Thackeray

On my fourth birthday, I received my first violin and began taking Suzuki violin lessons. My teaching career began in 2000 while finishing a BA in Music at the University of Utah. I completed the Suzuki triangle by enrolling my daughter in lessons with my former teacher, Ramona Stirling. I have a great love for the violin and the Suzuki method and it brings a lot of music into our home. I currently teach a small studio in my home amid raising 5 children. I am the past president of the Suzuki Association of Utah and also own The Practice Shoppe which has been a fun way to meet so many Suzuki teachers and families throughout the years.
