Leslie Fayette

Relocated to Rome, NY in May 2017 after 35 years on Long Island-first as teacher then as director/owner of North Shore Suzuki School. I have a BM degree in Violin Performance from Texas Christian University and Suzuki Training with Sanford Reuning as part of the degree requirements for MM in Viola Performance with Emphasis in Suzuki at Ithaca College. Further training at summer institutes at Ithaca College and UW-Stevens Point with Almita Vamos, Judy Bossuat and Helen Brunner. Having been a Suzuki parent to 4 children, all now professional musicians, I can offer a unique perspective to families regarding the challenges and joys of music instruction. Experienced with ages 3-adult, all NYSSMA levels and festival preparation.
