I believe that every child can learn to play an instrument, and I have seen first-hand how powerful and transformative music can be in a child’s life.

Your child will develop a great tone, a solid technique— including learning to read music at an appropriate age— breath control, how to practice, and much more! Students participate in group classes as well as private lessons. I include Suzuki repertoire, musical games, and non-Suzuki pieces in private and group lessons.

I have worked as a professional flutist and educator in New York for over 20 years. I am a founding member of baroque Bacchanalia Baroque Ensemble and The Zephyr Trio. Recent performances include the New York Chamber Players, the Garden State Philharmonic, Green Mountain Opera Festival, and Strathmere Festival Orchestra.

Currently accepting new students aged 5 years and up in Manhattan and in Dutchess County, NY.
