Laura Albee

Violin Teacher, Parent

Laura Albee

Currently a violinist with the Tampa Bay Symphony, she had the opportunity to teach violin part time with Canterbury School of Florida before recently returning full time to her insurance career.

She previously played with the Gulf Coast Symphony (a community orchestra in Fort Myers) and the University of Florida Orchestra in Gainesville.

Growing up in St. Petersburg, she began violin in the public school system before taking private lessons and performing with the Pinellas Youth Symphony. Her inspiration to teach came while studying the Suzuki Violin Method with an excellent teacher along side her three children.

Mrs. Albee has extensive experience with young children, both as a parent, school volunteer and most recently teaching beginner violin students.

She recently completed Book 3 teacher training at the Chicago Music Institute (summer 2018) and is now focused on serving the needs of her remaining private students.
