Lara Heck

Lara began playing violin over 30 years ago and has been teaching privately for over 10 years. She is a registered Suzuki Method instructor, an Artist in Residence at Calavera Hills and Valley Middle Schools, and is the Overture Strings Director for the EEF Elementary Band and Strings program.
Private students have opportunities to play in chamber ensembles, and perform in a yearly recital showcasing solos and small groups. Other performance opportunities include local farmer’s markets, Halloween Concert, and EEF Concerts. Lessons are 30-60 minutes long and are held at Lara’s in-home studio. Travel to your home can be negotiated. Her goal is to make learning to play string instruments a fun and fulfilling part of you or your child’s life!
