I started to play the cello at age 10 and quickly fell in love with its deep undertones. Throughout middle school and high school I studied privately with Paul Gregory and Jeanne Crittendon of the Santa Barbara Symphony while performing with the Ventura County Youth and Civic Orchestra. I also studied cello for a few summers at Idyllwild School of Music and the Arts.

In college, I continued to study cello with Alice Ober of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and peformed with the California Lutheran University Orchestra (I was the student concerto soloist in spring of ‘92— Lalo Concerto in D minor). I also performed with the Conejo Valley Symphony. During that time, I toured in Austria and around the American Southwest. For the past 18 years I have been performing with the Moorpark Symphony and various other groups in the Ventura County area.

I fell in love with the Suzuki methodolgy of music instruction and use it as the base for my teachings. Students will start with the Suzuki teachings with some dabblings in other non-classical musical genres.

I am located in Ventura County, California. I offer music instruction for 30, 45 or 60 minute lessons.
