My name is Kristin Campbell. Although I grew up in the south, I have lived and taught in Virginia, Colorado, Louisiana, and now Florida. I grew up in a musical family and began studying violin and piano at an early age. As a senior in high school, I realized that I could not imagine my life without music. I went on to receive a BM in Violin Performance and M. M. in Church music, Violin Principle.

I have taught private violin and piano lessons since 2005 and also taught at The Children’s Music Academy in Centennial, CO and at Colorado Christian University Lakewood, Colorado. Teaching my private students as well as teaching at Children’s Music Academy takes me back to the basics and reminds me of the joy of discovery and learning music for the first time. Teaching at the university level pushes me to learn new music and learn to communicate to all learning styles. Seeing students that are further down the journey of learning music reminds me that the foundations at the beginning are so very important. I played with the Virginia Symphony Norfolk, VA and as principle second for the  Stratus Chamber Orchestra in Denver, Colorado. In Shreveport, Louisiana I played violin with the Shreveport Symphony and taught violin and theory at Centenary Suzuki School.
