Teaching piano lessons fills my days with joy. I love teaching children and introducing them to the joy of music and I think Suzuki is a wonderful method for children learning an instrument. The Suzuki method is structured in such a way that children naturally learn to love playing the piano. Even young children can enjoy creating beautiful music early in their studies. Suzuki not only teaches a student to read music, but also trains their ear, a very important skill when learning an instrument.

I enjoy making lessons a fun and exciting event of the week by incorporating educational games and manipulatives to teach music theory into each lesson. In my experience, the best lessons and playing happen when we are having the best time. My goal is for piano lessons to be enjoyable and relevant for each child. I look forward to developing a relationship with your child that fosters a love for music and develops into a journey that progresses from playing ‘Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star’ to Mozart sonatas.

I would enjoy talking with you about lessons for your child. Give me a call to hear more about the many things I use in my studio to make piano lessons an exciting event of the week.
