Kelsey Kennedy

Kelsey Kennedy is a violin performer and teacher in Austin, Texas. She holds a Masters in Violin Performance from the University of Texas at Austin, where she studied with Sandy Yamamoto and David Kim, and a Bachelors in Violin Performance from Wheaton College Conservatory of Music. 

Additional performance studies include a position with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, training under Yoyo Ma and members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and summers spent with the National Repertory Orchestra and the National Orchestral Institute. Kelsey currently performs regularly with the Austin Symphony, Austin Opera, Austin Ballet, and Abilene Philharmonic Orchestra.

Kelsey is a member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas and has completed Suzuki training in Every Child Can and Suzuki Violin Units 1, 2, 3, and 5.
