Originally from Delaware, Ohio, Keegan Lammers received her Bachelor of Music Education from DePauw University in May of 2022. She completed her student teaching with Mr. Jeff Frizzi of Clay Middle School in Carmel, IN. During her college years, she served as principal violist of the DePauw Symphony Orchestra and the violist in the Asbury String Trio, the most elite chamber ensemble at DePauw. Her viola teachers include Deborah Price and Dr. Nicole Brockmann. Keegan was awarded the Leah Curnutt Prize for outstanding work in DePauw Music Education in 2020, the Indiana Music Education Association’s “Outstanding Future Music Educator” award in 2021, and the Indiana Association of Colleges for Teacher Education’s “Outstanding Future Educator” award in 2022. She has experience teaching violin and viola students ages 3-40. She looks forward to beginning her public school teaching career as the orchestra director at Hayes High School of Delaware City Schools in August of 2022.
