Kaycee Parker studied violin performance at University of Colorado at Boulder with a full scholarship under the direction of Dr. William Starr and Dr. Jennifer John. During the summers she studied Suzuki Pedagogy with Dr. William Starr, an internationally recognized pedagogue and founder of the Suzuki Association of the Americas. Orchestral experience includes the Boulder Philharmonic, Sinfonia of Colorado, Albany Symphony Orchestra, San Bernardino Symphony, and currently the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra. Kaycee is founder of Strings of Hawaii—a hub of chamber musicians on the island of Kauai. She plays chamber music concerts with the Kauai Concert Association and Ensemble Henrietta and performs often with the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra on Oahu. She is teaching part time while raising her 3 daughters on Kauai.
