Casey, an Air Force spouse, has enjoyed playing and teaching violin in many locations throughout the U.S. She was a member of the San Luis Obispo Symphony (CA), Santa Maria Philharmonic (CA), and Great Falls Symphony in Montana where Casey regularly performed with the string quartet in residence, the Cascade Quartet. She has performed in masterclasses for Philip Setzer of the Emerson String Quartet, Gil Shaham, Midori Goto, and the Penderecki Quartet. Casey received her Masters in Violin Performance from the University of California Santa Barbara where she studied with Yuval Yaron and was recipient of the Martin Kamen Fellowship Award. She received her Bachelors in Violin Performance from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music under the tutelage of renowned pedagogue Mimi Zweig. She currently resides in Colorado Springs, performing frequently with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic and other groups in the area. Casey has a passion for teaching and is currently accepting students in the Colorado Springs area.
