I have been studying/playing the violin for 14 yrs. receiving most of my education at IU Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington, IN. I received instruction from Mimi Zweig, Brenda Brenner, Christina Hightower and Emily Nehus. I am currently working on completing the Suzuki Teacher training course at the University of Louisville under the direction of Dr. Timothy Durbin.

I chose to play the violin at the age of 6 after my mother took me to several concerts performed by the Indianapolis Symphony. I have developed a love of the violin over the years and began teaching the violin at age 15. Some of my other interests are, horses, sewing, and cooking.

I want to pass on the same love and appreciation for music that I have developed and I desire to help develop the whole person by increasing confidence, creativity, improving listening skills, ect. and in turn making the world a better place!
