I have taught violin in my studio for over twenty five years, grew up with the Suzuki method and recently finished book four training. I love working with all ages and levels of students from three to seventy three! I am a member of the professional Montclaire String Quartet in residence at WV State University. I also am an active orchestral player and have held postions in the New World Symphony, North Carolina Symphony, Charleston Symphony, and currently perfom with the West Virginia Symphony as third chair with experience acting assistant concertmaster and concertmaster. I received a violin performance degree from the University of Wisconsin. I continue to enjoy chamber music through my carrer having developed a Chamber Music House Concert Series in S.C., programed Piccolo Spoleto Concerts in Charleston, S.C., and perfromed in chamber music concerts in Breckenridge Music festival and Bach and Beyond Festival, N.Y.

The Charleston Suzuki Academy holds private lessons, group classes and community functions through the academic year. Students learn to read music through selective books, activities and games.

“Let us have children study the violin as a way to acquire a beautiful heart, artful sensisbility, and refined abilities.”-Suzuki
