Jaki Treasure Berger
Viola, Violin Teacher
My name is Jaki Treasure Berger, and I have been involved with music my entire life. I began violin lessons at the age of 6, and I had a few piano lessons as well. When I was in middle school I started learning viola, and in High School I added drum lessons as I was on the Bass Line in Marching Band.
I have continued my focus on violin, viola, and piano over the years. I greatly enjoy performing, especially with orchestras and quartets. My favorite aspect of music, however, is teaching.
I began teaching in 2010, and I currently teach as a part-time job. I have had some training in the Suzuki School of Music, and I plan to continue honing my personal skills as I continue working with my students. I love working with all of my students, regardless of age or prior experience. It is a joy to watch the love of music develop alongside skill, and see the growth of my students as they progress.
I am currently pursuing more advanced Suzuki training, as there is always room for improvement!
