Irene Vianey Lavin

I was born in Nuevo Laredo, México. I started playing violin with the Suzuki Method at the age of 12, under the mentoring of teacher Ana Cristina Leal. Also participated on some Master Classes under instructor Marylin O’Boyle, which had help me to develop a better technique and musicality.

I’m impressed how there is always a way to improve as musician and specially as a person.

What I enjoy the most about music is that it helps me to be at peace and stay focused. Taking my time when practicing is a relief after having a bad day.
