Irene Senent has been playing the violin since the age of 8. With a Bachelor´s Degree in “Conservatorio Superior de Musica de Aragón, (Spain)”, she has over 12 years of experience in teaching the violin at all levels to a variety of age groups. She was trained at the British Suzuki Institute and Japan-Seattle Institute learning from teachers as Koen Rens, Helen Brunner, Barbara Parham, Martin Rüttimann…

She is part of innovative projects like “Inner Residencial musician” with the foundation of “Música en Vena” in the public hospital “12 de Octubre” in Madrid. She worked for 3 years in Dalanota, a non-profit organization in the multicultural neighborhood of Lavapies in Madrid. Both are recognized and awarded nationally.

She has immersed herself in other types of musical experiences including sharing music styles and performing in South America.

Irene is also experienced in the fields of orchestra and chamber music. She has played with internationally recognized performers such as Krystian Zimerman or Vadim Replin. In 2017 she worked as a producer and performer on the show “Tejiendo el sonido de los Colores” in the Museo del Prado, Madrid.
Currently, she lives in Vancouver where she combines work as a teacher and performer.
