I teach, support, and encourage students to develop excellent playing skills, self confidence, self awareness, and the joy of learning through violin playing.

I received my bachelor’s degree in violin performance from Boston University and went on to study viola in Salzburg, Austria. I have performed on both instruments with orchestras and chamber ensembles in the United States and Europe. My career in music education includes private and public schools from 3rd through 12th grades. As a certified Suzuki teacher, I work from my private home studio where I teach Suzuki method for young children and traditional instruction for older students. I enjoy working and collaborating with colleagues from schools, and support all music education.
