Mrs. Ilene C. Kinghorn

I started teaching traditional violin and viola in 1978. In 1995 I was very happy to discover the Suzuki Method and started training with Cathy Lee. I have been trained through Book 7 and have also taken many enrichment courses. These classes were taken from excellent teachers such as Jeanne Grover, John Kendall, Nicolette Solomon, Kun Rens, Barbara Barber, Linda Fiore, William Preucil, Ed Kreitman, Gabe Bolkowsky, and Judy Bossuat . I graduated with a violin performance degree from the University of Utah in 2005. I will be serving a mission in Sydney, Australia beginning January 2015 and will return to teaching Fall 2016. I am starting a new Twinkle class of students 3-5 years of age October 2016.
