Huiying Ma is an active performer and teacher. Huiying enjoys collaborating with other musicians and working with student’s interests, develops the techniques and inspires their imagination.

Professional engagements include performances with the Naples Philharmonic, Boston Philharmonic, Young Musician Foundation Debut Orchestra and Hong Kong Virtuosi. Festival appearances include Lucerne Festival, Tanglewood Music Festival, Sarasota Music Festival, Sierra Summer Festival, Brevard Music Festival, Kent Blossom Music Festival and the Internationale Sommerakademie Universitat Mozarteum Salzburg.

Ms. Ma holds a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance with Honours from Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, where she studied with Michael Ma. She continued her studies at University of Southern California as a student of Martin Chalifour, where she received her Graduate Certificate. She received her Master of Music in Violin Performance from Boston University as a student of Dana Mazurkevich. Currently, Ms. Ma is a Doctoral of Musical Arts candidate in Performance at Boston University.
