Holly Curtis began playing the violin at the age of 4 and grew up as a Suzuki kid. Learning violin taught her so many valuable lessons that led her to earn her degree at Clearwater Christian College in elementary education. She had the privilege of teaching preschool, 1st grade and 2nd grade up until the arrival of her first son. Deciding to quit teaching in the classroom was a hard decision, but she quickly found that now she had the opportunity to teach violin! Previous to moving to Texas, she maintained a private studio in Broomfield and Erie, Colorado while directing the Strings of the Rockies (grades PreK-8th) program at Vista Ridge Academy. Holly also organized and oversaw the music program at her local church. While Holly enjoys working with a variety of ages, she especially enjoys watching the little tikes discover and learn the art of playing the violin! Laying a firm foundation and connecting with kiddos is her specialty. Partnering with parents to help shape the future generation to not only be wonderful violinists but to also have noble hearts is a task she is looking for!
