Brazilian-born violinist Henrique Goldemberg is an active performer and teacher based in Campinas/SP.

His recent concerts appearances include performances with the Santa Fe Pro Musica Orchestra and with the Sandia String Quartet.

Henrique got his first violin as a gift for his 5 year old birthday and quickly started having lessons. By the age of 11, he was being taught by the University of Campinas professor, Dr. Esdras Rodrigues Silva.

In 2015 he came to the US to pursue a Master’s Degree with double concentration at the University of New Mexico. A Master’s of Music in Violin Performance, with Professor Carmelo De Los Santos, and a Master’s of Music in String Pedagogy, under the orientation of Professor Susan Kempter.

During his stay in Albuquerque, Henrique was the Strings Graduate Assistant, teaching violin performance to undergraduate level students. He also had a String Pedagogy Assistantship, and taught Pedagogy to undergraduate and graduate students.

Henrique is a certified Suzuki teacher (SAA number: 120795) with training on books 1 to 10. He was a coordinator at the UNM Lab School, where he maintained a private studio, and was a Clinician at the Bryce Canyon Music Camp.

In 2014 he received an Honor Diploma as the best student to graduate at the Chemistry Bachelors Degree Course at the University of Campinas.

Henrique plays a 1840 George Craske Violin.
