Heather Weinreb

Heather Weinreb is a passionate violin and viola teacher with 10 years of experience. She has a Bachelor of Music from McGill University, where she studied viola with Steven Dann and minored in Baroque Performance. She has worked extensively with children. She designed and taught her own Music for Children course at the Montreal Ismaili Center, and has worked as a daycare troubadour (singing, dancing, and playing musical games) in daycares throughout Montreal, and at The Préville Fine Arts Center.

She is delighted to be combining her acute sensitivity to the minds of young children with her passion for violin teaching as a Suzuki teacher at the Preville Fine Arts Center. She will be starting a Suzuki program there (both in downtown Montreal and in the South Shore in Fall 2022.
