Mrs. Heather Hannock

Mrs. Heather Howard-Hannock earned a Bachelor of Music at Liberty University with teacher licensure and a Master of Music Education at Old Dominion University. She is taking classes toward a Doctor of Music Education degree at Liberty University. She holds a current Postgraduate Professional License from the Commonwealth of Virginia in Instrumental, Vocal, and Choral Music PREK-12. She received Kodaly Music Training at James Madison University and is Kodaly Music certified (a singing-based approach to Music Education). She is a Suzuki-certified instructor and blends Suzuki and Kodaly approaches in her private music studio. Mrs. Hannock has taught orchestra and vocal music at the elementary, middle, and high school levels in Newport News, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach Public Schools. She is a member of the Organization of American Kodaly Educators and the Suzuki Association of Americas. She has lived abroad in Europe for several years and now resides in California.
