Hannah began her violin training at the age of 12 (after many years of begging her parents for lessons) and has been playing and learning ever since. As a freelance violinist, she has performed concerts (along with her string-playing sisters) for various historical organizations across the state, private functions, local church concerts & college operas/plays. She subs with several central Indiana orchestras, plays regularly with the Kokomo Symphony Orchestra, and serves as their personnel manager and librarian.

Prior to Suzuki teacher training, Hannah apprenticed shortly with a Suzuki violin teacher. She was able to observe lessons, assist with and teach group lessons, and coach an intermediate chamber group. She has completed her teacher training with Linda Stieg, Roger Stieg, & Martha Shackford.

Hannah also enjoys playing piano. She began lessons at the age of six and studied through the end of highschool. She has been a church pianist for over 10 years and (no surprise) her favorite thing to do on the piano is accompany.

Hannah believes music is a gift and loves to share this gift with others through performing and teaching. She loves working with children of all ages and delights in bringing joy to them through the exciting journey of learning music.
