Hannah Mindeman Shuman​ is a sought-after collaborative pianist and music educator. She debuted at Lincoln Center in 2013, performing in ​Reflections of a New York City Park Bench​, a multimedia concert with flutist Julian Rose that combined 20th century flute-piano repertoire and original visual art. As a founding member of Colibri, a violin-piano duo with Evelyn Petcher, Ms. Mindeman performs all over the United States, including at the DiMenna Center in New York City and at An Die Musik! in Baltimore.

Ms. Mindeman Shuman received a Graduate Certificate in Collaborative Piano from the University of Arkansas, a Master of Music in Collaborative Piano from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance with a minor in French, ​summa cum laude​, from Covenant College. Her teachers have included Lisa Emenheiser, Jeanell Brown, Allison Gagnon, and Tomoko Kashiwagi.

An avid educator, Ms. Mindeman Shuman was a 2012-2013 Kenan Fellow at Lincoln Center Education in New York City, where she studied and practiced aesthetic education. She is also a certified teacher with the Suzuki Association of the Americas and received book training from Caroline Fraser, Joan Krzywicki, and Bruce Anderson.

Ms. Mindeman Shuman currently resides in Austin, TX and is on faculty at Aurora Music Studios.
