Gretchen Frazier

Gretchen Frazier studied the Suzuki method with Liz Arbus, Ed Kreitman, Kimberly Meier-Sims, and Teri Einfeldt, at Ithaca Suzuki Institute, Eastern Carolina University and Hartt School of Music. She holds degrees from Crane School of Music and Cincinnati Conservatory.

Gretchen is Assistant Principal Viola in Eastern Connecticut Symphony and has held positions in Savannah, New Haven, and Charleston Symphony Orchestras. She taught violin and viola at the Ashley Hall School for Girls, Armstrong Atlantic State University, and The Hartt School. Festivals include Des Moines Metro Opera, Green Mountain Suzuki Institute, and Piccolo Spoleto USA.
Gretchen currently teaches at The Neighborhood Music School and at her private studio in New Haven.
