Gloria Youn received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Piano Performance and a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She also studied piano at the Chicago Musical College. Her teachers included Dean Sanders, William Heiles, Joel Shapiro, Ian Hobson, Kwang Ho Seo and Phylis Hill. She studied Suzuki Piano Method at the University of Tennessee with Fay Adams.
Mrs. Youn studied jazz improvisation with Tony Caramia. She studied Suzuki Piano Method at the University of Tennessee with Fay Adams. She also received her Kindermusik teacher training at Agnes Scott College and Warren Wilson College.
Mrs. Youn has been a piano teacher for 30 years. She teaches both Suzuki and traditional methods in her private piano studio in North Potomac. She also has been a Suzuki piano faculty member of Levine School of Music since 1995.
