M.M. in Cello Performance, St. Louis Conservatory of Music; B.M. in Cello Performance, Illinois Wesleyan University; teachers include Yuan Tung, Robert Luke, and Gordon Robson. Active as a freelance musician in both Missouri and Illinois; principal cellist and librarian, Alton Symphony Orchestra; cellist, Gateway Festival Orchestra; main cellist for the Landolfi String Quartet and Richard Wappel Piano Trio, and other area ensembles; former principal cellist of Town and Country Symphony; Musicians Association of St. Louis (AFM Local 2-197), Viola da Gamba Society of America, and American String Teachers Association; was involved in work for music publishers for over two decades; studied other instruments including piano and viola da gamba; private cello teacher since 1994. Recipient of the 2016 Outstanding Studio Educator Award from Missouri American String Teachers Association.
