French cellist Flora Camuzet has had a rich career working around the world.
She is currently the principal cello of Okanagan Symphony Orchestra, Prince George Symphony, and have her own studio in Northern BC, Canada.
After preliminary studies in cello, chamber music and orchestra in Paris, she earned a degree at the prestigious Conservatoire Superieur de Musique et Danse de Lyon, she won a position with the Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra in Japan, where she worked for three years.
Flora is trained by Dr. Tanya Carey for Book 1,2 and 3.
She moved to Lisbon, Portugal to raise her two daughters while working as a busy freelancer with the Gulbenkian Orchestra, Sinfonica Portuguese, Sao Carlos Opera, and Cascais Chamber Orchestra, while teaching regularly at the Alcobaca, Luisa Todi, and Santa Cecilia Academies of Music.
Flora played in the prestigious Verbier Festival Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra in Suisse, with Joshua Bell, Maxim Vengerov or Marta Argeritch . And at the Schleswig Holstein Festival Orchestra with Gidon Kremer, Yo Yo Ma etc.
