Fernando Piñero is Director of the Escuela de Musica Shinichi Suzuki in Córdoba, Argentina where he organizes and conducts concerts, tours and workshops. With his students, he has performed in some of the most important concert halls in Argentina. They were invited to France in 2013 and in 2016, where they performed at the Festival Universitaire de Musique in Belfort, as well as in Paris, the Chiesa della Pieta in Venice and at the Casa Argentina in Rome. In 2018 the tour included presentations in the Netherlands, Belgium and the Conservatory in Frankfurt. They performed at the 2014 International Conference of ISME, (International Society for Music Education) in Porto Alegre, Brazil. He has been recently appointed Violin Teacher Trainer for the European Suzuki Association.

In 2014 he conducted the Latin American Suzuki Ensemble, a group of 40 students from eight different countries that performed at the 2014 International Conference of the Suzuki Association of the Americas. He was also Conductor at the 2019 Suzuki Convention in Cancun, Mexico.

As a clinician he travels extensively throughout the entire continent. He has been invited to institutes and festivals in Lima, Bogotá, México City, Salt Lake City, El Salvador, Monterrey, Buenos Aires, Rosario, Paraguay, Brasilia among others. He is also frequently invited in workshops and institutes for coaching, lecturing and teaching  in Lithuania, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Denmark and Spain, among others. He has organized exchange programs and visits with several groups such as Rocky Mountain Strings, Utah; the Indiana Virtuosi; The Buffalo Suzuki strings, the Orchestra Kaposoka from Angola, etc.

Since 1999 he is a member of the Córdoba Symphony Orchestra. He has also been a member of the Orquesta Barroca del Suquia conducted by Manfred Kraemer. He holds a degree in Literature with emphasis in Linguistics from the National University of Cordoba.
