Eve Werger is a professional performance pianist and teacher based in Columbia, MO. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Lawrence Conservatory in Appleton, Wisconsin, and is currently pursuing a Masters of Music in Piano Performance at the University of Missouri. Eve has been teaching and performing professionally for over a decade and has a contagious passion for musical exploration, granting her a wide breadth of knowledge that spans numerous genres and styles. Her students are marked with distinct skills in reading, basic music theory and music history, and strong ears. Of equal importance, Eve’s students consistently develop a strong sense of discipline, self-motivation, and a personal understanding of why music is important to their lives. Eve leads her students to success with a focused and firm teaching style that utilizes her trademark positive reinforcement as the cornerstone of her pedagogical technique.

As a child, Eve grew up as a Suzuki piano student herself and completed all seven Suzuki books. She understands the ins and outs of the Suzuki philosophy and her unique approach to teaching comes from an intimate understanding of how the Suzuki philosophy functions in a family and community. Her goals as a teacher are to foster a love of music, a hunger for success, and a joy in learning. She brings these aspects to each of her students and tailors her teaching to the unique learning abilities of the individual student. Her flexible teaching style embodies Suzuki’s belief that every person can be successful.

Eve welcomes students of all ages and experience and especially welcomes those with unique learning styles and abilities.
