22 years experience in various performance settings including solo, ensemble and symphony. Two years experience teaching private lessons and one semester teaching with the Mountain West String Academy in elementary school string instruction.

Began taking lessons at age seven from Esther Larsen who emphasized using the Suzuki Method, completing books 1 through 8. After this time, under the instruction and coaching of John Chatelain,
took on advanced repertoire such as Symphonie Espanole by Lalo, Violin Concerto No. 1 in g minor by Bruch and Violin Concerto in D Major by Tchaikovsky. Attended one year on scholarship for violin performance at Utah State University with training by the Fry Street Quartet, Sergio Bernal and pedagogy classes with renowned guest Mimi Zweig.

Past solo experience includes concerto performances (Lalo and Tchaikovsky) with the Murray Symphony and Cottonwood High School symphony orchestras. Completed six years of the National Federation of Music festivals with superior ratings.

Performed in Salt Lake Symphony for 3 years and currently working with Cache Valley Symphony.
