Emily Constantinou Chicago based Suzuki Violin Teacher and Performer.

Emily is currently accepting students in her home studio in Edgebrook/Jefferson Park area of Chicago, IL. Additionally, she is on staff with the Suzuki based school program “Music for Youth” located in Arlington Heights. She has extensive experience teaching private and group lessons and also has the honor of conducting the Reading Orchestra at MFY.

As a performer, Emily tours with the Chicago Irish Punk Band, “The Tossers”. In 2016, they had the great honor of playing the Kennedy Center and have since released the album titled “Smash the Windows”. The album is the bands seventh studio album and Emily’s first; she wrote and arranged the string parts. Emily can also be seen performing with the local folk band, “Jonas Friddle and the Majority” and performs classical and pop arrangements for weddings and parties in the Chicago area.

Emily’s experience performing different styles of music has become a cornerstone of her teaching. She strives to implement creativity and self-expression through music. It is her hope that each student reaches their full, artistic potential.

Emily has a BA from Columbia College Chicago: Jazz Studies. She has been teaching the Suzuki Method for 10 years to students ages 4-Adult.
