Emily Bauerlein

Emily started her journey of music at the age of four as a Suzuki viola student. She attended Buffalo Suzuki Strings till the age of eighteen. While at BSS she was a part of the Advanced Friendship Touring Ensemble where she went on three tours to Italy, Spain, and Argentina. Now she is part of the faculty at Buffalo Suzuki Strings where she teaches Viola, Violin, and her passion in Suzuki Early Childhood Education. She believes that with a kind heart and a understanding to each individual that Every Child Can Learn.

Emily holds a B.A. in Music from Buffalo State College where she studied with Kate Holzemer and Janz Castelo. Her Suzuki Training includes coursework with Mary Cay Neal, Carrie Ruening-Hummel, Christie Felsing, Sharon Jones, Dorothy Jones, and Margot Jewell.
