Elizabeth (Ellie) Glorioso is an American cellist and pedagogue based in Cleveland, Ohio. She received her Bachelor’s of Music from Butler University’s Jordan College of the Arts where she studied with Dr. William Grubb. In August 2015, Ms. Glorioso began her studies at the Cleveland Institute of Music, pursuing a Master’s Degree in Cello Performance and Suzuki Pedagogy in the studio of Sharon Robinson.

Passionate about chamber music, Ms. Glorioso has had the pleasure of touring Italy and Slovenia with Trio Glorioso, a piano trio founded in Duino, Italy. Having participated in many other art forms including theater, dance, and writing, Ms. Glorioso serves as a proponent of collaboration between art forms—performing with dancers, artists, and actors in order to give the audience a multi-sensory artistic experience. In her leisure time, Ms. Glorioso enjoys practicing hatha and vinyasa yoga, drinking the perfect cup of tea, and reading Russian novels.
