Mrs. Elizabeth D. Mayorca

I was the creator/director of a violin program at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School from 2007-2009, while I was also teaching general music education to grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. I created my own in home studio in 2009 and continue to take new students of all ages to this day. I graduated from The High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston Texas in 1993 as a violinist. At New York University I studied with Hae Sook Yoon where I received a Music Minor in 1997. I studied chamber music at the Robert Schumann Conservatory in Zwickau Germany in the summer of 2000. The Austin Lyric Opera is where I took two years of vocal training with Cyndi Sadler. I received the first certificate for Kodaly training at the University of Houston in 2005 which focuses on teaching solfege and ear training to young children.
