Violinist Elizabeth Kilpatrick is a junior at Butler School of Music at the University of Texas Austin. She studies Violin Performance with Daniel Ching of the Miró Quartet and chamber music with the Miró Quartet and faculty of the Butler School of Music.  She has performed recitals throughout the United States and appeared as a soloist with the Schenectady Symphony Orchestra and the Skidmore Chamber Orchestra in Upstate NY. Elizabeth is a former member of the first violin sections of the Glens Falls and Schenectady Symphony Orchestras, former violin faculty for the Michael Rudiakov Music Academy in Manchester, VT where she co-founded the Suzuki violin program, and was a active performer in the Capital Region of Upstate NY before moving to Austin, TX. Elizabeth is an alumnus of the Luzerne, Bowdoin, Manchester, and MeadowMount music festivals. She has spent summers working with Cheryl Kim, Ayano Ninomiya, Frank Huang, and Gerardo Ribiero. In addition she has received chamber coachings with the American String Quartet, the Ying Quartet, the Talich Quartet, and Ensemble ACJW. She has performed in masterclasses with Kathleen Winkler and Frank Huang and her former teachers include Michael Emery and Joana Genova Rudiakov. Elizabeth is the founder and coordinator of a monthly solo performance series, the Butler School Collage Series, at the Butler School of Music. 

Elizabeth works for Wag! dog walkers in addition to teaching violin, coaching chamber music, and subbing for regional orchestras in the Austin area. She works as a counselor/RA during the summers at the music festivals she attends.
