Violinist Elizabeth Kilpatrick is an active recitalist, chamber and orchestral musician, and music teacher in the New England and Upstate New York area. She has performed recitals throughout the United States and appeared as appeared as a soloist with the Schenectady Symphony Orchestra and the Skidmore Chamber Orchestra. Elizabeth is a member of the first violin sections of the Glens Falls and Schenectady Symphony Orchestras in addition to performing frequently with other professional ensembles in the area. She is on the violin faculty of the Michael Rudiakov Music Academy in Manchester, VT and also maintains a private violin and piano studio. Elizabeth is an alumnus of the Luzerne and Bowdoin Music Festivals where she studied with Cheryl Kim, Ayano Ninomiya and Frank Huang. In addition to studying chamber music at Skidmore College for 3 years, she has received chamber coachings from the following: faculty of the Manchester Music Festival, faculty of the Luzerne Music Festival, faculty of the Bowdoin International Music Festival, the American String Quartet, the Ying Quartet, the Talich Quartet, and Ensemble ACJW. She currently studies with Michael Emery in Saratoga Springs, NY and will be attending Butler School of Music at the University of Texas Austin next fall where she will be studying with Daniel Ching of the Miro Quartet.
