**Elizabeth Kilpatrick is active as a violin teacher and violinist in Richmond, VA. She currently runs a thriving private studio in Richmond focusing on beginning violin students ages 3 and up. Elizabeth is passionate about teaching and sharing the benefits of music with her students and strongly believes in the importance of music and the arts in the lives of all people. In addition to teaching, Elizabeth serves as an auxiliary violinist for the Richmond Symphony and is a regular gig violinist in Richmond, VA.

As a performer, Elizabeth has given recitals throughout the United States and appeared as a soloist with the Schenectady Symphony Orchestra and the Skidmore Chamber Orchestra in Upstate NY. She has served as a substitute violinist for the Austin Symphony Orchestras and is a former member of the Central Texas Philharmonic and Glens Falls Symphony.

Elizabeth completed her Bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance and Arts Administration and Management at the Butler School of Music at the University of Texas, Austin in 2020. She has studied with the Suzuki Association of the Americas to receive training in the first three Suzuki method books.

In her spare time, Elizabeth loves gardening, trying new recipes, hiking, and exploring Richmond with her husband Evan and their pup, Butter.
