Elizabeth M. Guerriero, Ph.D. (Penn State University) In 2019, Dr. Guerriero was a Finalist for the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra’s Ovation Award for Inspiration and Outstanding Leadership in Music Education. Dr. Guerriero is on the faculty of Rider University (violin and viola), and is professor of music education and Director of Rowan University’s Community Music School & Educational Partnerships. She is equally comfortable working with pre-twinkle and twinkle beginners on violin and viola, as well as advanced students in the repertoire. Regarding teaching, Dr. G has students of all ages and levels, and has a “work hard, have fun!” approach.

Dr. Guerriero holds a masters in Suzuki Pedagogy from the University of Denver (Books 1-9) where she studied with James Maurer. Previously, she did Suzuki studies with Linda Fiore and Teri Einfeldt.
