Her further studies were at the NewEngland Conservatory of Music, Western Washington State University with Barton Frank, and at the University of Calgary, earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Music. She is a long-standing member of the Calgary Civic Symphony and the Sunrise String Quartet.

She teaches private and group classes from age 3 to adult to students living in southwest and northwest Calgary and Airdrie. Parents with young beginners are instructed in cello technique to support their role as the home teacher, assisting their child to practice effectively. She creates a child centered positive learning environment. Solo and group performance opportunities are provided throughout the year.
