Ms. Diana Ray-Goodman
Viola, Violin Teacher
Diana Ray-Goodman plays both the violin and the viola. She received her BA in Music from CA State University Northridge and worked on her Master’s degree with William Magers at Arizona State University. She has played in several orchestras including the Phoenix, Santa Barbara and Conejo Valley Symphonies and the Santa Barbara Chamber and the Thousand Oaks Philharmonic. She is a founding member of the Channel Islands String Quartet. In Thousand Oaks, Diana has a studio of violin and viola students ranging in age from 3 years to adults. She is a Member and Evaluator for the Music Teachers’ Association of California, as well as a member of the American String Teachers’ Association. She has also taught as part of the Music Faculty at CA State University Channel Islands since its opening in 2002.
