Ms. Darja Koehler
Raised in Slovenia, Europe, I earned my B.A. in Piano Performance at the University of Ljubljana, Academy of Music . In the last thirty years I have worked and motivated many children who performed in recitals, competitions, and at special events with great success. I have been lucky to further extend my education in the Suzuki Method at Holy Names University, Oakland, California with Caroline Fraser, and at the Colorado Institute in Colorado. Teaching with the Suzuki method has given me a great opportunity to work with very young children ages three and up, and with that, developing their potential to the best of their abilities.
Recently I returned from a year of teaching Suzuki Method in Europe where one of my students won first place on the National Piano Competition.
I am a member of MTAC ,SAA,SMAC-BAPB,PAS.
