Cristiane received her Bachelor’s Degree in violin from “Escola de Música e Belas Artes do Paraná”, Curitiba, Brazil, in 2001 under Dr. Paulo Torres.
She began her musical studies at the age of seven on the Suzuki Method. Later she enrolled the elemantary course at “Escola de Músuica Villa-Lobos”, Joinville, Brazil, under Professor Roberto Hübner, where she graduated in 1995.
During her training she attended several music festivals such as “Oficina de Música de Curitiba”, “Festival de Inverno de Campos do Jordão”, “Festival de Artes de Itú”, “Festival de Música de Câmara de Curitiba”, among others. There she had lessons and master classes with renowned teachers including Janna Lower, Alexander Mandle, Cláudio Cruz, Paulo Bosísio, Öle Bohn and Jerko Tabilo.
Cristiane’s orchestral experience includes long-term collaboration with ensembles such as “Orquestra Sinfônica do Paraná”, “Orquestra de Câmara da PUC/PR”, “Orquestra do Conservatório de MPB de Curitiba” and “Camerata Dona Francisca”, where she was leader and musical director.
She had an extensive pedagogic activity at “Escola de Música Villa-Lobos”, Joinville, Brazil, where she was “Professor of violin” from 1994 to 2008.
Mrs. Pinho began her “Suzuki Teacher” training in 2016 under professors Renata Pereira, Eduardo Ludueña, Edward Kreitman and Shinobu Saito.
Currently she teaches at the “Centro Suzuki de Educação Musical”, São Paulo, Brazil.
