Conny Crappell has a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in violin pedagogy and performance from Augsburg, Germany. She was principal of the Munich Chamber Orchestra “Die Zarge” for many years. She also performed with numerous chamber groups which toured in Germany and SE Asia. She also was a member of the Baton Rouge Symphony, the Acadiana Symphony in Lafayette, LA, the Natchez Opera Festival in Natchez, MS, the Fort Smith Symphony, AK, and the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, OK.

Mrs. Crappell has been teaching the violin since 1992. She studied the Suzuki mother-tongue approach in New Orleans, Oklahoma City, and Salt Lake City. Mrs. Crappell taught Suzuki violin and chamber ensembles at the Conservatory Lafayette with great success. In Norman, OK, Mrs. Crappell was the director of the Norman School for Strings, a very successful Suzuki school, where she taught students of all ages and levels.
